Symptom

You have configured a SAP XI 3.0 J2EE File Adapter receiver channel to write the target files using the file construction mode "Add Time Stamp" or "Add Counter". When running your scenario under high load in a cluster environment, you notice that sporadically an existing target file is overwritten by a message processed on another cluster node.

Other terms

XI30, Adapter Framework, XI2File

Reason and Prerequisites

Program error.

Solution

This problem has been corrected in patch 12 for support package 11, patch 10 for support package 12 and patch 1 for support package 13 of the component XI ADAPTER FRAMEWORK CORE 3.0.

Import the SAPXIAFC11P_12.SCA, SAPXIAFC12P_10.SCA or SAPXIAFC13P_1.SCA archive for SAP Exchange Infrastructure XI 3.0 as described in the NetWeaver 04 Support Package Stack Guide.

For Netweaver '04, the archive and the guide are located on the SAP Service Marketplace under the alias "/nw04" -> "Support Package Stacks Information".

For Netweaver 2004s, the archive and the guide are located on the SAP Service Marketplace under the alias "/nw2004s" -> "Support Package Stacks Information".

Please note: This correction only applies to the transport protocol "File System (NFS)", but not to the transport protocol "File Transfer Protocol (FTP)". If you are using the FTP transport protocol, please refer to note 821267, question #7 for a workaround.
